For years I forgot that I love to read. No, I don't just love it... I need it. I need to read. I need to allow my mind to escape to other worlds, to empathize with people walking through trials, and to learn and stretch my mind. In December of 2018, I was relearning how much I love to read and decided to set a goal to read 45 books in 2019. Sometimes I read 3 books a week, and sometimes I went three weeks without reading one, but the mission was accomplished. I have to be honest, I thoroughly enjoyed every single book I read this year. Some took me a little longer to work through, but I learned something from each book. The ones I didn't laugh or cry through still taught me, and I appreciated each nugget I learned. The following is the list of all 45 books completed this year. They are in categories but in no particular order. I am also rating each book with some handy-dandy stars. The stars are based solely on how much I enjoyed the book. So, without further ado, I present you, my list of books read in 2019 (And yes, I do count audio-books as books read, simply because, hellooo, I'm a mom which means I'm a multi-tasker and "read" quite a few books while vacuuming and driving last year). Biographies
Memoirs
Self-Help and Parenting
Spiritual
Fictional Novels
