bible teacher. speaker. writer.
Kendra LeeAnne creatively weaves together the truths God has spoken over her with the stories of hope, grief, loss, and redemption that have marked her own life. Using humor, warmth, and a good story or twelve, Kendra connects with audiences of all ages to encourage followers of Jesus in their walk with the Lord. Kendra likes to say that she isn't through the muck and mud of life, instead, she is knee-deep and trudging through it, while joining hands with other believers to help pull them through, too.
Kendra has been speaking for women's events and student ministries since 2012, but began preaching to the birds and butterflies in her yard when she was just five years old. Kendra is married and together they have three little girls, a golden doodle, and around 20 house plants. You can find her reading or cooking but always with a coffee in hand.
The stage has been Kendra's second home for most of her life, therefore, she finds it easy to relate to audiences, whether performing or engaging with them through speaking. She has also learned the art of captivating an audience through storytelling, and uses those stories to bring Scripture to life.
Imaginative stories have always filled Kendra's world and as soon as she could write, she began sharing her stories on paper. Kendra spent several years as a marketing and content writer, and during that time wrote for an online women's Bible study. Kendra continues to offer freelance work as a writer in many capacities. She will always write about the hope found in Jesus and His amazing, sustaining, grace.
what the people are saying...
"We had Kendra speak out our Student retreat in Winter of 2020. She spoke with passion and conviction. It’s not easy keeping the attention of 200 teenagers from grades 6-12, but Kendra did it wonderfully. We have plans on having her back again sometime in the near future.”
Rob Roush, Student Pastor, FBC Blue Springs
When I think of the embodiment of hope, I think of Kendra. In both word and deed, Kendra declares the beauty and truth of the Gospel in all things. And believe me when I say that she can proclaim the Gospel. Over the last couple of years, Kendra's teaching has ministered to me countless times as she expounds God's Word. She's deeply dynamic, graciously truthful, theologically profound, wonderfully worshipful, incredibly funny, and one of the best speakers I have the privilege of hearing. I've invited her to speak time and time again for my ministry and will continue to do so. To be honest, it's intimidating (in the best kind of way!) to speak the week after her because she's that good! One of the best decisions you will ever make is inviting Kendra to speak at your next event!

Kendra is such an engaging speaker and a joyful soul on and off the stage! She is raw, real and extremely passionate about sharing the message of Jesus and it's evident in her teaching, and life as a whole! She's the best and I promise you won't regret hiring her to speak at your event!
Kendra spoke at my youth retreat called Refuel... I wasn't planning on going originally, but my youth pastor told me we would have a woman speaker and I was super excited and decided to go. I am so glad I did. Kendra is very relatable and easy to talk to. Her messages were easy to understand because she was able to make connections to things we go through every day as students. She was very vulnerable, which was so cool to see and made the messages a lot more personal and meaningful. Her willingness to open up about her personal life and her struggles were very encouraging towards me and all my friends. It was so cool to hear that we aren't alone in our struggles and see her as an example of how God is working. She was so willing to jump in and get to know every single student and was always involved in everything. She even came to a trampoline park with us and was jumping with us the entire time we were there. Her messages were powerful and full of Scripture. She was so comfortable in front of us, and it made her so easy to listen and relate to. Refuel 2020 was by far the best retreat I've ever been to, and Kendra is the biggest reason this retreat was so amazing.
Kendra was the best speaker I have had on all of my camps and retreats and she was the first girl to speak to us. Her sessions made sense and made me think. I love how she went to Get Air with us and how she would interact with each student and hang out with them and I love how much she put her personal life into each session. Kendra is the best.

When you spoke at Refuel it really changed me! I came as a kind of last ditch effort to get it together, and it completely changed my life. Thank you so much for sharing parts of your story and being honest with us, it helped so much! The topic at Refuel was just what I needed to hear and it really changed the path I was heading down. Thank you so so much for everything.
