Kendra first appeared on stage at the age of six when she was in her first musical. Because the stage has been Kendra's second home for most of her life, she finds it easy to relate to audiences, whether performing or engaging with them through speaking. She also learned the art of captivating an audience through storytelling at an early age, and delights in connecting with audiences through sharing stories.
Kendra is passionate about building relationships with audiences off of the stage, and spends her time investing in audience members between scheduled speaking times. Kendra began speaking to the middle school age group in 2010, giving talks about the tragedy of bullying. In 2012, Kendra embarked on mission to Kenya, Africa to spread the Gospel and encourage fellow Christ followers. While there, Kendra had the opportunity to preach in churches in the bush, the slums, and the cities of Kenya. Shortly after she returned to the States, she began an internship under student pastor, Brad Daniel, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, where she taught frequently. From women's conferences and retreats to student ministries and schools, Kendra has spoken for a wide variety of audiences. Kendra has continued to speak both in-person and virtually. She is passionate about exegetical preaching - no matter the theme or topic for a session. On topics such as mental health, living a simple Jesus life, motherhood, and identity, Kendra is passionate about helping other believers walk more fully in their calling and knowledge of Him. |
